Healing
through nature,
together.
Hike2Heal is a Birmingham-based charity walking alongside people in recovery from addiction, mental-health challenges, and trauma — through guided hikes, fresh air, and the kind of community where every step matters.

We walk with purpose,
at the pace of the person
next to us.
Hike2Heal began on a single muddy footpath outside Birmingham — a handful of people in recovery, finding it easier to talk shoulder-to-shoulder than face-to-face.
Today we're a community of over 1,200 walkers, hosting guided hikes across the Midlands and beyond — for anyone navigating addiction, mental-health challenges, trauma, or simply the weight of an ordinary week.
Four ideas that
keep us walking
forward.
Recovery isn't a journey to walk alone — every step forward is stronger when taken together. Here's what we hold to, mile after mile.

The best way to support Hike2Heal is to take part. Every hike is a chance to connect, heal, and grow — whether you're in recovery yourself or walking in support of others.

Take part in our guided hikes across stunning landscapes — safe, supportive, and uplifting. All ages and abilities welcome.

actually feels like.

“Great walk, great people, great organisers. Just done my fourth walk with Hike2Heal — I don't think I've felt this much like myself in years.”
