We're excited to announce a special long weekend on the Isle of Skye — Scotland's most famous island, known for its dramatic landscapes, rugged mountains, coastal cliffs and incredible views.

As always with HIKE2HEAL, this trip is about far more than the miles we cover. Travelling up together, sharing a hostel, cooking, laughing and swapping stories in the evenings — these weekends are where connection and community happen, and where recovery grows stronger.

Where we're heading

The centrepiece of the weekend is the Needle Rock, The Storr and Old Man of Storr circular — arguably the most popular hike on the Isle of Skye. The "Old Man" himself is the iconic pinnacle of rock jutting into the air, visible from miles away, and the landscape is so dramatic it has starred in films from The Wicker Man to Prometheus.

It's around 5.5 miles with almost 2,000 feet of climbing. The paths are rocky, with some steep sections and high drop-offs, and they can get slippery in wet weather — this is a hard-graded route and the trip is best suited to those comfortable with a tough day on the hill. As ever, we move as one team: nobody gets left behind.

Beyond the Storr, Skye is packed with jaw-dropping scenery — jagged ridgelines, sea cliffs and lochs in every direction — and we'll make the most of every day we're there.
