A gentle six-kilometre loop through Worcestershire's nearest hill country. We start before sunrise so the trail is quiet, the air is sharp, and the moment the light breaks over Beacon Hill is yours to keep.
About this hike
The Lickeys are forgiving: well-marked paths, gradual ascents, plenty of places to pause. A great first walk with Hike2Heal — most of us have been here on our own first morning.
We move at the pace of the person at the back. Nobody walks alone, and nobody is hurried.
What to bring
- Waterproof jacket and sturdy footwear
- A flask — we'll stop for a hot drink at the summit
- A snack you don't have to think about
- A torch or head-lamp for the first hour
Accessibility
Mixed terrain, two short ascents, some uneven ground. Step-free routes are available — message us before you book and we'll pair you with a hike-lead who knows the gentler line.
